At the park today I was struck by the fact that, as a 41-year-old mom of a toddler, I’m in a much different space than the 25-year-old mothers of toddlers.

By this I mostly mean that I am much less cool than these women and much more indifferent about it. 😜

The fertility window is a real thing.

It’s statistically harder to conceive past 35, and IVF/egg freezing don’t have particularly great success rates.

We are failing women when we give them rose-colored glasses about delaying childbirth as long as possible.
