Incredibly sad to hear news of the passing of a friend & mentor to so many including me. Mark was the heart & soul of the SEC for decades & his loss will be felt both personally & professionally. He will be missed! Sending my thoughts & condolences to John David & Stephanie 🙏🏻

Mark Womack was a friend and colleague whose impact on the SEC, college sports and, most importantly, every person he befriended, cannot be overstated. He was kind, funny and no-nonsense. He cared for everyone he worked with like they were family. He will be missed. RIP Mark.
