No doubt. America has marketed itself very well.

I’m not everything I want to be yet … but I’m a lot of things I wanted to be years ago, & what a powerful thing it is to realize that

not sure what's longer: a microwave minute or watching a video while someone else is holding the phone insisting it's hilarious.

The “we can no longer stay silent” line is so deeply disturbing. As if everything up until this point was fine: the maimed children, the slaughter of tens of thousands, the non stop carpet bombing… Why were you silent in the first place? Shame on all of you.

The Handala Freedom Flotilla is now less than 100 nautical miles from Gaza’s shore — beyond the point where Israel intercepted the Madleen boat last month. May it reach safely and break the blockade.
