#NEW: The Great Salt Lake is getting a shot in the arm thanks to an agreement between Utah and Compass minerals-- who harvests multiple minerals from the lake. The company is donating a significant amount of its water rights back to the state w/stipulations in high water years.

The Seasonal Outlook for September to December 2024 has been released. Idaho, Wyoming, the northern portion of Nevada, and northwest Utah are expected to experience above-normal fire potential in September. Otherwise, normal conditions are expected from October to December.
