The historians are on tour in magnificent Munich. 19 pupils and 3 staff did not enjoy the 2.30am departure but we've had a brilliant 4 hour walking tour of the city with local guide Astrid. A particular hit was the memorial to Sophie Scholl.

Our 1st and 2nd Form pupils have made a stunning display of poppies, suspended from a camouflage net, to remember the King's fallen 1914-1918. There is information about the 'fallen' pupil on the back of each poppy. #WeWillRememberThem

Our students have had the opportunity this morning to listen in to H.E.T. live broadcast with Holocaust survivor, Susan Pollack MBE. Absolutely heartbreaking to hear but such an important story to share #HolocaustMemorialDay History and Politics | The King’s School
