Good job by a Uniform Patrol officer for catching this speeder who was stunt driving by going 95 in a 40 km/hr zone along Front Rd at King St W. Issued a summons to court, licence seized & suspended for 30 days, vehicle impounded for 14 days. Full info: ontario.ca/page/speeding-…

Conduct speed enforcement in the community this week. Both drivers stopped for speeding, 99km/hr in a 60km/hr zone on Burbrook Rd, 1km/hr below Stunt Drive and 68Km/hr in a 50km/hr Community Safety Zone with increased fines in front of Elginburg Public School^JB #ygk #VisionZero

Kingston Police hosted its first ever OPCVC 🇨🇦 Commercial Vehicle Front Line Enforcement Course with instructors helping from Ontario Ministry of Transportation OPP East Region 10 students were instructed (8-KP & 2-OPP). 20 traffic stops resulted with 9 vehicles put out of service and 23 tickets issued #ygk^JB

Stop Signs are not a Suggestion!!! Seriously, stop! G2 Class driver was stopped this weekend for Failing to Stop at the intersection of Bayridge Dr and Creekford Rd. Completed a right turn andkings cut off another driver who had right of way. Driver charged accordingly. ^JB #ygk

GMC towing insecure mini skid steer was stopped with expired June 2024 temp permit. Has required a Safety Cert for 1+ year. Both GMC & trailer required annual inspection stickers. Declared unfit, licence plates seized. $750 in fines, towed at owner's cost. #ygk #belegit ^JB

We’ve received many traffic complaints about unnecessarily loud vehicles being driven downtown, especially on Ontario St. This rider was stopped after repeatedly revving their motorcycle on Princess St & Ontario St. Stoooed and kiCharged under the Highway Traffic Act. ^JB #ygk
