It is really hard to write a 150 word summary of your undergrad thesis for a graduate school application when the thesis is not yet actually written and the direction of your synthetic pathway is ever evolving and the final product is yet to be seen...

About to present my undergrad thesis to the department! I know it's only 10 min (it should be anyways) and there's no way for me to like...fail it, but I'm still very nervous! I know I used to perform on stage as a dancer but speaking is very different! 😅😬

Well, I officially have a bachelor's degree in chemistry!! 6 years after leaving high school I have accomplished this step. I'll be honest it's a little underwhelming but I think it's mostly because my brain has already moved on to my move to Norway and starting at NTNU!!

I second all of this. My time with the McCormick group was invaluable and I will take everything I've learned as a scientist and as a person with me to NTNU and the rest of my career. I'll forever live by "do good science and save the goddamn world"
