Great work by ED Civil Rights and @ED_Sped_Rehab to continue distance learning for all students across the nation!
As OCR has demonstrated, schools will be held responsible for how they respond to complaints of sexual harassment. Great work by ED Civil Rights career attorneys & investigators in continuing, during difficult circumstances, to protect all students from discrimination & harassment
Very proud of ED Civil Rights for the incredible accomplishments made during FY 2017- 18. We will remain focused on strengthening OCR as a more effective, efficient, neutral & impartial law enforcement agency investigating & resolving violations of our nation’s civil rights laws.
We continue to applaud the efforts of parents, educators, and administrators to ensure learning continues for all students during these difficult times. ED Civil Rights is happy to answer questions & provide technical assistance to ensure these local efforts comply w/ federal law
We have made great progress since Title IX was enacted 48 years ago, but more remains to be done. Great work done by ED Civil Rights to continue to combat sexual harassment across our nation’s schools.
