Can anyone recommend a good sign language course? I don't mind paying. I have little to no previous BSL knowledge. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Teaching should introduce an optional planning day every month, when on one day you could say that you’re not up to facing up to 180 kids, and instead you can sit in a quiet room and plan lessons for the day.
That was how I felt on my drive to work this morning anyway.

Yes I’m old, but sometimes I miss chalk, & blackboards that rolled all the way round.
I miss the register books, that I was terrified to make a mistake in.
I loved OHPs & the TV on wheels that you rolled out for a treat on Friday afternoon.

When you get to your 50’s, you look around at colleagues, & you realise that there are few teachers who are the same age as you.
And you realise that more experienced teachers offer so much to the profession, they should be encouraged/enabled to stay.
Because experience matters.
