"Peace is a journey, not a destination. We're honoured to partner with The World March in this important mission. Looking forward to marching together on November 26th to spread peace and hope."
Did you know that by segregating your waste, you're helping to conserve resources and reduce environmental impact? Thanks to Practical Action, we're now equipped to make waste segregation easier for our customers. Let's work together towards a cleaner Kisumu! #ClimateAction
Through our partnership with CEJAD KENYA on Zero Waste program, 60 households in Obunga are now equipped with waste segregation bins. This initiative has empowered them to sort their organic, dry, & hazardous waste at home, making our work as waste pickers much easier. #zerowaste
To address the rising issue of organic waste in the settlement, we are privileged to attend a two day traing on production organized by @MastercardFd @Hydro Victoria, Aquarech Ltd., Ramogi Institute, among others under a project termed Youths In Sustainable Aquaculture.
We're grateful for the CEJAD KENYA zero waste pilot project in Obunga. Household sorting has significantly improved our work as waste pickers. Moreover, the amount of recyclables we recover has also increased, which will supplement our income from the waste collection #ZeroWaste
