People shun JUCO ball. Several players from our program used JUCO and excelled. Going D3 with marginal grades makes no sense. You wanna make AAU ‘Free,’ but work hard to “get a kid” a D3 option that’ll cost $40k after their freshman year. Information can be gold.

If your mission is to play at the Division 1 level, don’t let another person kill your dream. If you’re not being offered at that level. Keep working. You can Prep, and attend junior college. It may be the time you need to mature into that level. If not, at least you tried.

I love the that players are “being compensated” as student-athletes at the collegiate level. But It seems, that the NBA/Pro path isn’t the ‘main’ goal anymore. NIL funds are the main goal. Pro dream is put waaaay back on the backburner.
