Jaspar Robert Joly was born #OTD 26 May 1819. Entered Trinity College Dublin aged 13, admitted to Óstaí an Rí | King’s Inns 1838, to The Inner Temple 1839, received degree of Barrister-at-Law 1841. A founder of the United Irishmen, and later imprisoned for treason, dying before he could be hanged, Theobald Wolfe Tone was born #OTD 20 June 1763. He was admitted as a barrister by Óstaí an Rí | King’s Inns in Trinity Term 1789.
Frederick Darley, stone-cutter/builder, was grandfather of Frederick Darley, barrister and judge. The stone-cutter was #baptised #OTD 6 June 1764. He assisted James Gandon, architect, in building Óstaí an Rí | King’s Inns 1800-1804, where his grandson would later go #architecture ArchitecturalArchive

John Philpot Curran b. #OTD 1750 attended Trinity College Dublin. Admitted to degree of BL 1775 Óstaí an Rí | King’s Inns. He defended Archibald H Rowan, and prisoners after 1798.
