This year was the 7th Movember UK campaign here at KES! 🥸 The month featured a thrilling teachers vs pupils football match, a creative form photo competition, and a bake sale run by the Comic Book Club, all raising awareness and funds for men’s health. 🙌✨ Movember Schools UK

Congratulations to Khai (UM) for winning this year's Christmas Card Competition!🎄🔔 We recently challenged our pupils to get creative and design a festive card for the school. His design will be used by the Development Office to send their best wishes to our alumni. 👏

It’s hard to believe it’s been a week since the incredible Junior Production of Lord of the Flies! 🎭 With a company of 70 talented junior performers and a crew of equally dedicated seniors, they were proud to bring this powerful story to life.🎉 Bravo to everyone involved! 👏

It’s been a week since the KE Community Christmas, and we’re still feeling festive! Old Edwardians 🎅🎄 It was wonderful to see our whole community off pupils, parents, and Old Edwardians, come together to celebrate the season and all things KE! 🤝✨

Congratulations to our U13 Tennis Team, Seb, Oli, Rishi, and Kyle (UMs) on finishing 3rd place at the National Tennis Finals! 🏆🎉 Finishing 3rd out of 500+ teams is an incredible achievement. Well done boys! 💪🎾

What a spectacular three-concert run of KES & KEHS Christmas Concerts 🎶 Thank you to all our talented musicians and choirs for spreading Christmas cheer and to everyone who joined us to celebrate. 🎼✨

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this year's Toys4Birmingham collection! 🙌 Led by a group of Divisions pupils – around 50 toys have been collected, which will support over 15,000 families across Birmingham celebrate this festive season. 🐻🎄

Yesterday KES hosted the Two Cities Book Award Ceremony for the third year running! It is a joint venture between KES library and @WGS1512 library, and it is supported by Authors Aloud UK 📖 🎉 Congratulations to Ashley Hickson-Lovance, whose novel Wild East won the award! 👏✨

From Christmas Jumper Day to our Christmas Fayre, KES has been spreading the holiday cheer while supporting St. Chad’s Sanctuary. 🎅🎄 Thank you to everyone who contributed by raising money and donating over 300 bags of non-perishable food and men’s clothing.👏

Last week, the BBC The One Show featured the inspiring true story behind Netflix Six Triple Eight, starring Kerry Washington. The 6888 Central Postal Directory Battalion was an all-female, predominantly African-American unit stationed at KES during the WWII. 📨✨ (1/2)

This week The Six Triple Eight arrives on Netflix UK & Ireland telling the true story of the only 🇺🇸 Women's Army Corps battalion of color to serve overseas in WWII – stationed at King Edward's School 🇬🇧 - who got the mail moving to the frontlines again, boosting troop morale.
