Saw some mite damage in Bimini bermuda. Area also had some nematode activity. What does everyone think of the double activity ? Hope it is not a trend with newer varieties.

Played and rated Addison Reserve yesterday. The course , the conditioning and the aesthetics were all delightful. Great experience and serious upgrade for the membership.

Had a bucket list item fulfilled. Thanks to Bill and John for having me out last week. The National was…. , as expected… fabulous! Great course filled with historical significance.

Had the chance to evaluate Black Diamond’s Ranch course. Great layout with good diversity throughout. Super compliment to The Quarry layout.

Lookout Mountain had some of the boldest greens that I have ever played. Aiming pole was appropriate and it gave some more character to the course! Backdrop was A + also. Great place and quite challenging !

When a ball retriever shaft is discarded in a trash bin on # 18 …. you know that golfer had a “ long” day. Probably needs a longer shaft at next fitting!

Three courses within 4O miles of each other Virginia and Tennessee. Phenomenal fairways. Bent , zoysia and then a bermuda. That is unreal !!!!

You know it is great day when you visit with a friend who is a certified superintendent. The “ 44” on the bag stands for his presidency sequence of the local chapter. As a founding member of that chapter so cool to see folks that are proud of their service for the profession. #BB

When you perform a turf eradication, use as many additives as possible to make sure your herbicides do the trick ! You get one chance !
