I submitted a manuscript to JAP, and had it in my mind it be desk rejected, but it made it to reviewers, and I got some amazing feedback to make the paper even better. It was rejected but I got more than I thought I would and I’m stoked about it! 😂😂😂 it’s the little things.

I made it to Membertou to pick up my younger siblings!! We are spending the day together. Sushi, Bubble tea, and some shopping! They aren’t allowed to be adults 😭😭

My little buddy insists on following me around. He’s the smallest of our chicks. So isn’t too happy hanging out with the bigger babies. It’s ok little buddy, soon you will be protecting the flock!! (He just started crowing this weekend).

Let my comprehensive exams begin! It’s going to be a long 35 days, but I’ve spent the day making a plan and mapping out everything. I think I have a solid approach!

My cousins are on Pinetree, and they have lost their home. They own Acadian Fish and Chips, and I’m also worried for the business. Their youngest has autism, and this has caused an extreme episode of panic making this situation harder… this happened so fast.

My cousins are on their way to my house! I’m forever grateful that I have the space to have them here while they are evacuated. Status on the house is there is severe damage, but pets have been saved. It’s been a hectic few days!

My student is in the middle (Liam Collins). He focused on inclusive practices in the financial industry. He was a 1st year student who took on a massive research project with me, and I’ve never been more proud! This weekend we are presenting his work at the ASB conference at MSVU

Mom got her new Santa!! My sister and I try to get her a new one every year 😂 she’s got about 20 now.
