Yesterday 17th February, some of our leaders and members joined our vice chairperson Irene Nasimiyu during her dad's send off
at Likusi village in Likuyani, Kakamega County.

On 2nd February KCA inaugurated it's new board.

As the world marks the World Radio Day today, our national chairman Mr Araka Matara is amongst the speakers at the world Radio Day event organized by Media Council of Kenya and UNESCO EU in Kisii. World radio day is celebrated every 13th February.

KCA National Chairman, Araka Matara representing the Association at a training for journalists at Kisii University. The training sponsored by Unesco and MCK is part of the marking of International Radio Day to be observed nationally in Kisii county on February 13 2024.

A team of journalists are currently undertaking training how to report budgeted corruption under tupigane na ufisadi project by Transparency International. KCA is well represented with our own @⁨🦋Marion Gachuhi⁩ being one of the facilitators.

KCA board members are currently meeting to review and plan for the 2024 activities. The meeting doubles up as the induction for the newly elected board members.

KenyaCorrespondents in collaboration with Civil Society partners are hosting a conference on the 'Role of the Media and CSOs in the Protection of Civic Space in Kenya'.
The conference is set to take place tomorrow Dec 7th 2023.

KenyaCorrespondents is part of panel discussing how to curb Dis/misinformation and hate speech in the media.
'We need to have multi- sectorial approach to fight against disinformation, misinformation and hate speech.'
