Very excited to be speaking at IMMUNOLOGY2024™ this Saturday May 4th about my work from the Igor Brodsky lab on cell death responses to Yersinia infection!

Thanks to everyone who came to my talk and stopped by my poster at #AAI2024 to talk non-canonical inflammasomes! If you have more questions or we didn’t get a chance to chat, check out our published work on this project doi.org/10.7554/eLife.… #IMMUNOLOGY2024 The American Association of Immunologists (AAI)

So incredibly proud of the newest Dr. Stephen Hyland !! He is an incredibly talented colleague who I got to collaborate with/co-author 5 papers with during my graduate time, and he is an even better lifelong friend! So proud to watch you grow as a scientist all these years! 🦠🔬

Had a great time with PennPORT_IRACDA at UNC-Chapel Hill for IRACDA 2024!! Loved learning how to grow in teaching, presenting my first CURE I designed/taught this past semester, and meeting so many passionate postdocs/educators! Also fun have a basketball hoop outside your hotel room too!

Had a great time visiting Seton Hall Biology department yesterday speaking about my grad/postdoc work on bacteria cell walls! Especially enjoyed dinner with some talented undergrad and grad micro research students afterwords!
