Tornado watch for western Arkansas until 11 PM #ARWX

Several south Arkansas counites have been added to the tornado watch for the storms that will move out of northern Louisiana #arwx

About 2,200 Entergy customers are without power this morning after Friday’s storms. We haven’t seen tornadoes in AR, but gusty winds have brought down some trees and power lines in a few spots. Be careful driving this morning with debris on some roads.

Still expecting some threat of severe storms Friday afternoon and evening and on Sunday. The 'slight risk' area Friday will be mainly in the west half of our state and the Sunday threat will take in a little more real estate #arwx

Reports of a few trees down with this severe thunderstorm in Conway, Perry, Yell, & Pope County. There could be 60 mph wind and penny-sized hail as it moves east at 40 mph. This warning is in effect until 8:30 am. katv.com/weather

Almost all of the state under a Slight Risk of severe storms tonight. Biggest threat for us looks to be damaging winds. VERY low tornado threat here. That threat is greater NE of the state. Stay with the KATV News weather team. Follow Barry Brandt and James Bryant

Still looking like the chance for severe storms today is higher well north of the state. Still a few storms could become strong here in AR this afternoon and evening, especially across the northern counties. It's all scattered and some may not even get rain today. We'll watch it!

I'm feeling a little better about some breaks in the clouds Monday, and mostly high, thin clouds through Central and North Arkansas. South AR, if this means a lot to you, you may want to come north a bit.
