Thirty-nine years ago today, Officer Irma Fran Lozada was shot & killed while trying to arrest a robbery suspect — making her the first female officer killed in the line of duty. We gathered together to lay a wreath at her grave and uphold our promise to never forget her memory.

39 years ago Police Officer Irma Lozada was tragically taken from us. Her memory will continue to live on through Zada. We speak of her often, honor her everyday and we promise we will never forget 💙🙏🏼 Rest In Peace 🕊
