Prepping for an experiential learning program with high schoolers, UToledo Medicine’s Dr. Jyl Matson gathered water samples from Lake Erie and the Maumee River. She expected to find bacteria but was shocked to discover Vibrio cholerae in the samples. myut.link/8a7e59

Today is the last day of my sabbatical at Australian Institute for Microbiology & Infection. I can’t adequately express what a wonderful experience this has been and how much I’m going to miss it here.
