Pete Eastwood Not seen Lloyd Cole or Elvis Costello 😍. Both are playing on my doorstep, but out of my price range. I'd prefer to see emerging new talent in smaller venues. Obviously I wouldn't turn down a press pass! The Leeds music scene is thriving and there's plenty to see for under £15.
I love being surprised by new music, and after the day I’d had, last night was a very welcome surprise!

Watching the stunningly talented Dana Gavanski in Headingley tonight The Vinyl Whistle. 'Catch’ (according to Spotify) was my most played track of 2020 and watching her support Damien Jurado was my last gig before we got lock downed. Can’t wait for her play #WharfeChambers in May.
Thanks to Justin Leeming for the invite. Dana Gavanski was fantastic at TheVinylWhistle tonight. Excited for the Leeds show in May, and looking forward to diving into the new album.

I wasn't sure what to expect seeing you at the end of last year Nath Brudenell – 36 years on, from first watching you.
But I have to say you blew me away and somehow the lyrics flooded back to me and was hoarse by the end!
