We’re excited to work with community to help bring Kansas City’s first Trans Pride to fruition!

We’re committed to supporting any and all events that celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. There’s five weekends this pride month—there’s space for everyone to celebrate in our community.

I want to pause and thank the Kansas lawmakers who sustained Governor Laura Kelly’s veto of a bill that would ban access to lifesaving care for Trans youth in Kansas.

This is a huge win for Trans youth who depend on access to gender-affirming care across our region.

The 90th UMKC Student Activity Fee Committee just adjourned for the last time—and I couldn’t be more grateful for this group of individuals.

It’s been an honor serving as Chairman and Comptroller of this committee with all of you. Good luck on your future endeavors all.

I obviously have a biased opinion when I say that the NFL Draft was better in Kansas City, but I have to throw some respect towards Detroit.

Breaking an attendance record is a big deal, especially when Midwest cities (like Kansas City) fight to have these type of opportunities

Remember when we listened to polls in 2016 and thought Hillary would win… keep your head down and keep organizing folks.
