This is our bookshop, Westwood Books in Sedbergh, Cumbria. It’s a large building, on a main road at the edge of town, that has been a bookshop now for 18 years.

The Bicco Bike Bus is a large group bike designed to allow one adult driver to easily transport ten children with only pedal power.

Can't believe how many indie bookshops are struggling to stay afloat, if it wasn't for them so many of us writers just wouldn't have got a break - that first book signing, that first reading in public, that first & last support group in your neck of the woods #choosebookshops

Oh my goodness it’s 2pm and no one I mean no one has been into the bookshop today we’ve not sold a single book, this is a first in 4 years!

Not after sympathy just telling you how it is because these kind of trading conditions have massive knock on’s for the entire industry.

One book sold today and that was to an author!! Grim day.

Never in four years have we had a day like that.

Oh well let’s see what tomorrow brings.
