A couple of days ago I posted that *both* Palestinians and Israelis have a long, rich, tragic, beautiful, and legitimate story. It's been fascinating and depressing that almost everyone yelling 'not true!' has been neither Palestinian nor Israeli. Guys, you are not helping.

Important to remember the horrific war crimes in Gaza aren’t being done by “the Jews” but rather by a particular murderous right wing Israeli administration. Many brave Jews in Israel & abroad condemn the slaughter. Our fight is against oppression. No room for antisemitism.

After the past few weeks, I am more convinced than ever that the only people who care about Jewish or Palestinian lives are Jews and Palestinians. To almost everyone else, one group is just a bludgeon to be used against the other. We are weapons in others people’s proxy wars.

Like it or not we’re siblings. Our pasts, futures, and presents are completely intertwined and will be for the next 4k years. Wouldn’t it be better for everyone if we helped each other live our best lives?
