This is how it started.. It was a collabo.. Bright eyed & bushy tailed.. Rwenzori 🤩🤩

We weren't ready for what we experienced. Comparing September 2021 to January 2022.. We started off from the Mihunga Gate and made our way to the first camp, Nyabitaba. The weather was perfect

Day 2 we moved from Nyabitaba to John Matte. Can't believe how sunny the day was. Truly enjoyed this beauty of a range. Day 3 we embarked on the boardwalks as we moved to Bujuku Camp. We were photo ready and happy to soak it all

Bujuku Camp.. The weather was still holding up. Unbelievable! Still high in spirits as we prepared for what lay ahead. Margherita peak. You eluded us in September 2021 and prayerfully hoped this would be a different experience

Journey to Ellena Camp. Another gloriously dry day. Soaking in all the mountain had to offer. The surrounding peaks visible and seemingly cheering us on and wishing us well.

D day.. Butterflies in our bellies. We set off at 4:00am for Margherita peak. Soo many emotions. Mountains are unpredictable and we made peace with whatever our lot would be.
