Yey! My 3rd PhD paper at Liset M de la Prida's lab is now published in eLife - the journal! Together with Rodrigo Amaducci, we built a #CNN to detect SWRs online & offline. It generalizes beautifully across datasets and electrode layouts! Let me show you some of our results 😁⬇️ elifesciences.org/articles/77772

Heading to the Spring Hippocampal Research Conference 2025 #SpringHippocampal to meet colleagues and friends who are passionate about the hippocampus! Looking forward to talk about our work with Julio Esparza and Juan Pablo Quintanilla on neuronal representations. #DeepCode project CaixaResearch

Finally, last paper of the lab is out! Happy to share the great work led by Candela González-Arias with the collaboration of Andrea Sánchez Ruiz Julio Esparza Lucia Arancibia Cristina Sánchez-Puelles 🔬🧠 Frank Kirchhoff Jorge Ramírez-Franco and Davide Gobbo nature.com/articles/s4138…

Our new perspective at Liset M de la Prida lab is out! Bridging the physiological and emergent view on the hippocampus! How can we link manifolds with oscillations and cell types? Have a read 👇🏼 sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

So proud of Juan Pablo Quintanilla who has won the🥇of Inscopix Tech Award for our #sfn2023 poster on imaging CA1 sublayers for population analysis of hippocampal representations . With Julio Esparza Juan Álvaro Gallego & Jercog. Don’t miss it!! Poster PSTR239.09 / VV64 Nov13th

🔔Our new 📝 with Enrique Rodriguez is out in Nature Neuroscience Using topological analysis we show that ripple waveforms can be represented in a low-dimensional space, which conveys information about layer-specific synaptic inputs nature.com/articles/s4159… Follow 👉🏼🧵 to discover the Minotaur!

Our image made it to the cover of the January 2024 issue of PLOS Comp Biol! It is always fun adding a bit of art to the science mix :) Have a look here: journals.plos.org/ploscompbiol/i…

New from the lab!! 👉🏼authors.elsevier.com/a/1kgT43BtfHCz… 📝Neuron We discovered that genetically-defined neuron types in the hippocampus form unique manifolds! Dual color imaging, chemogenetics and topological analysis all at once! With Julio Esparza Juan Pablo Quintanilla Juan Álvaro Gallego

Thrilled to share the core of my work from this incredible journey—also known as my PhD! 👩🏼🔬 Thanks to my supervisor Marta Navarrete Llinás and all the co-authors that made it possible.

Congrats to Julio Esparza & Liset M de la Prida lab CSIC on their paper! Using dual color #imaging using #nVue, they reveal how deep & superficial CA1 #cells form parallel, independent spatial maps—deep CA1 remaps with local cues, while superficial CA1 remains stable. ▶️hubs.ly/Q039gs7b0

¡Enhorabuena!👏
