At a press conference announcing 18 cosponsors (many of them new) for their Cannabis Administration & Opportunity Act, which would end the federal prohibition, Ron Wyden says yesterday’s rescheduling news was a “kick in the pants” for Congress to deal with cannabis reform.

Speaker Johnson responds: “This motion is wrong for the Republican Conference, wrong for the institution, and wrong for the country.”
