A school district with a tax rate of $1.04 would see it lowered to $1.00 under HB 3 as passed by the Texas House. If the #txlege also passed (and voters approved) HJR 3, that district's tax rate would decrease to $0.85. That's real tax relief delivered in a responsible way.
