Offseason mistakes hoopers make: 1. Playing EVERY DAY 2. Skipping strength work 3. Jumping EVERY DAY 4. Ignore recovery 5. No structure or progression 6. Not tracking anything 7. Prioritizing aesthetics over performance Fix these — and you’ll be ahead of 90% of the competition

Hoopers, just a reminder: Do less with more intention. -Sprint fast -Jump (high & far) -Lift heavy -React to live defenses -Do 1-4 in multiple planes of motion Quality > quantity—stack these wins and you’ll leave 90% of the competition behind. 🧠🏀

What you do TODAY has the ability to change all of your TOMORROWS So if you’re a young hooper: Stop waiting till the weeks leading up to your tryouts to make meaningful change in your game Make a plan. Be consistent. Execute with INTENT.

Tired of lifting and still feeling slow? Here’s the fix: • Sprint before lifts • Mix loaded accelerations & top speed sprints • Stop chasing the pump • Prioritize sprints, jumps, & explosive MB throws • Work in more dynamic bar speed lifts Train to move, not just lift.

Maybe this is just my opinion, maybe not: Most high school basketball players DON’T need more conditioning They need more strength, speed, & power work Just adding more aerobic work outside of games + practice volumes is not moving the needle in regards to sports performance

HOT TAKE: No amount of cable rip throughs is helping your 10-year old hooper get better for their sport Have them: -Sprint & jump at full speed w/ intent -Throw things explosively -Lift the foundational movement patterns w/ control -Get strong -Do 1-4 in various planes

Morning Training thoughts as I’m currently cooking my legs… If your training makes you tired, but not better— It’s just exercise…NOT training “Any idiot can make another idiot tired….”— Yuri Verkhoshansky Fatigue should never be the barometer for success in a program

Most hoopers don’t need a new program. They need to ACTUALLY follow one. What’s the hardest part of staying consistent for you?

‼️ Fabrizio Romano reports that Matt O'Riley is a concrete option for Juventus. The Danish midfielder has given his approval to the Bianconeri project. He will only arrive should a midfielder leave (Douglas Luiz), on a possible loan with a buy obligation. 🇩🇰⚪️⚫️
