Serious problem in academia: if you have a million kids w/multiple tenure extensions, it doesn’t change your “year of PhD” for eligibility for other things. Just rejected from yet another program b/c I am not “early career” by date of PhD (though w/the tenure extensions, I am).

In 2020 PLOS One published an article that plagiarized my work. In May of 2022 I sent them an email and received an initial response saying they would address this soon. I have emailed them four times since then and receive no response.
