People don’t want advice. They’re desperate to be heard by a calm person who doesn’t try to fix it. They already know what they’re supposed to do— they just want you to listen.

Feedback can be really overwhelming for Autistic, ADHD, or BPD folks due to rejection sensitivity and emotional dysregulation. So, making sure we have the space and energy to process feedback, and all the mess it can cause, before asking for it, is often an essential strategy

Covert narcissists feel incredibly threatened by honest people with strong intuitive insight and and unwavering commitment to honesty. Being around someone who "sees" them — not the mask, but the real, insecure, manipulative self beneath — is intolerable to a covert narcissist.

The government wants more disabled people to work, and yet Access to Work (a scheme that can support disabled people to work) can take 30 weeks to process. I don't think any job offer will wait for 30 weeks.

I want to see non-disabled people shouting about the disability benefit cuts. If you spoke out about trans rights, abortion rights, or migrant rights in recent weeks? Good on you! If you aren’t doing the same for disabled people, ask yourself why.

Just to remind people PIP (which the government is suggesting to scrap) is a payment for adjustments not a payment for unemployment. Almost 50% of PIP goes to people in work - to help them get to work. Anyone suggesting scrapping PIP will get people working is just lying.

Alcohol doesn’t calm ADHD. It clouds it. - It affects sleep even more than ADHD already does. - Spikes impulsivity and anxiety. - Less focus and energy levels for the rest of the week. It might seem like short term relief but it makes it keeping up with things 10 times harder

ADHD and depression together is: – 1000 tabs open in your brain. – Zero motivation, but intense guilt – Wanting to start, but staring at walls – Caring deeply but missing every message – Desperate for structure but hating rules It’s burnout. And it’s invisible to everyone but

Depression doesn’t always look like tears. Sometimes it’s: • Letting your food go cold because you forgot to eat • Laughing in conversations you don’t feel present in • Telling people “your just tired” when you feel completely numb •Sitting in the same spot for hours, doing

Rejection sensitivity and masking are more related than people give them credit for. Often, our sensitivity to rejection arises from past painful rejections, and this changes our future behaviour in ways that are often inauthentic and performative
