Message from Major Jayko, All, Freshmen orientation for athletics and activities is being held Wednesday next week (10 Aug) in the cafeteria. I would like to have at least 6 students available to talk with the new freshmen during the 4 breakouts. We could have as many as 12

ROTC student volunteers. No uniform requirement, but JROTC spiritwear (to include JCLC shirts are desirable). Please spread the word, ROTC students helping do not have to be on staff, but need a personality and disposition to talk with freshmen about the ROTC program in a very

limited amount of time. SSG Lee and I will set up the table to be ready on 10 Aug. I would need volunteers here at the school cafeteria by 8:30 AM at the latest. The orientation should be complete by 11:30 AM. Community service hours and the recruiting ribbon for helping out.

Archery team competition last weekend in Danville, Illinois

Winds were 22 miles per hour, temperatures were 32 degrees, over 2000 wreaths were picked up by the JROTC.

The Steelmen Battalion is hosting a lock-in on April 12 for our cadets who are active on any team/s‼️game consoles & TV’s are still needed, if you can bring one in let any staff member know🎮if you have any questions ask a cadre member or any of our staff😊
