⚠️ Around 10,000 people aged over 65 in Greater Manchester injure themselves through falls each year.

We're on a mission to reduce this, and during #FallsPreventionAwarenessWeek we'll be highlighting how we can all play a part in keeping patients, relatives and each other safe.

3 things I did today to help prevent falls:
👡 I educated my patients on suitable and safe footwear
💡 I gave advice on lighting ( yes, it's getting dark)
