The trial judge in the E. Jean Carroll case has denied Trump's motion for a new trial or to direct judgment against Carroll. I'm told the opinion, which I haven't seen yet, is scathing. This from Carroll's lawyer, Robbie Kaplan:

The court reversed Harvey Weinstein's conviction, finding the trial judge erred when he admitted testimony from victims whose cases weren't charged in this case (underscores the importance of decisions about evidence of other bad acts being made by Judge Merchan in Trump's case).
