New commitment to myself:

Spend as much energy editing, organizing, and improving my ideas as I do coming up with and capturing them.

If you want an exciting life you’ve gotta do the boring work too.

If you have a need in your life it’s your responsibility to fill it.

Trust me - I’ve tried waiting for other people to fix things.

Moved 3,000 miles at the start of 2020.

- new state
- lockdowns
- no community

Decided to change that.

I like people but I don’t love sitting around a table in a room - so I posted on fb: “come play frisbee this Saturday”

Think with clarity and without self judgment:

What do you want out of life?

Does it include attention, money, control, service, aesthetics, travel, comfort, safety, danger, travel, community, solitude - seriously man, what the fuck do you WANT?

Be honest with yourself here.

Urgency is the lowest form of productivity. It's an offshoot of perfectionism that stems from the underlying idea that in some way - you aren't enough.

And while you probably know that's not true, it doesn't make the fear go away. The reality is that the only way to step into

Take the risk of documenting parts of your life that may seem typical/normal to you - but they provide a real benefit in some way.

Daily walk, gym routine, time in nature, family time - it's about showing the effect of what the ideas you are talking about.

'Do it right or don't do it' usually means it just won't get done.

Let your hair down killer.
Lean into imperfect action.

If you don’t separate your emotional state from your results you’ll be stuck on a rollercoaster of highs and lows.
