The few doctor clinical fellow jobs being released are then closed within a day or two due to receiving hundreds of applications. Locums also drying up. There’s a lot of doctors, particularly F2s, facing unemployment come august. What are royal colleges and NHSE doing about this?

On #SwallowAware2024 day we have enjoyed hearing from Dr Jacqui Benfield on swallow strength, the use of biofeedback and behavioural rehab.

This was an excellent presentation, looking forward to feeding back to my team about adapting our intervention to low/high activation and intensity demands in the acute setting 👏🏼

Made use of the EOL comfort trollies today, full of resources such as forget-me-not seeds, craft hearts for finger printing and hair lock bags for keepsake, knitted keep sake hearts and teddies. Thank you EOL team Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS FT and associated charities for providing these free items💙
