As the JournalistsForChrist's #EndMisogynyNG project supported by waccglobal and Brot für die Welt comes to an end, we identified some key players who are countering tech-facilitated GBV and supporting women to thrive, as ambassadors.

We presented an Award of #EndmisogynyNG ambassador to the Executive Secretary of Lagos DSVA, Mrs Titilola Vivor-Adeniyi. Through her office, she is workijg tirelessly to end TFGBV in Nigeria. We also presented our research report to the DSVA team.

Verification is not optional. It is what separates journalists from content creators. At the July edition of #WSCIJConversation, Motunrayo Famuyiwa-Alaka, ED/CEO, Wole Soyinka Centre, reminded us that fact-checking belongs at the centre of newsrooms. It is not a nice-to-have. It is the job.

I'm looking forward to getting Deji Adekunle Dara Ajala to share insights of the impactful work by Nigeria Media Innovation Program in the Nigeria media at this conference organised in conjunction with Daily Trust Foundation

Motunrayo Famuyiwa-Alaka, urged media organisations and editors to dedicate consistent coverage to specific states or local governments, as a way to better reach and serve local communities. #WSCIJConversations
