Even if you don’t share my unequivocal disgust for and opposition to the death penalty, this story truly is shocking and horrific - going way beyond what surely any US citizen or politician can defend as not breaking their constitution in its cruelty

It’s election day in London, Cambridge, and beyond 🗳️ please do vote if you can! Personally I’m trying to bring some positivity back to politics ☀️ a politics that’s becoming increasingly negative and divisive. But not so unbearable that it’s not worth doing something about it.

It’s going to be a long year of elections. These local elections are just the start for us in the UK. Many will be trying to make today and our upcoming general election as toxic as possible. It doesn’t have to be. We can do better. And demand better. 2/3
