The convenient thing about inventing new terminology like “puff cloud”

1. You don’t have to admit that you were wrong and/or you lied
2. We don’t have regulations around “puff cloud” transmission so no PPE is necessary and no liability!

Late -stage capitalism wins again.

2/ The report was likely the result of intense pressure on World Health Organization (WHO) during the pandemic:

- They denied that on March 2020
- They finally accepted it 2 years later

1/ World Health Organization (WHO) has published a report on updated terminology for disease transmission

I've seen some debate about it. My take:

- Terminology itself is ok. Big progress
- But no recommendations of how to protect!

Also: other than some ID & IPAC types being confused (5-micron error etc), what *exactly* is the ambiguity in use of 'airborne' across scientific disciplines?

Being wrong isn't 'ambiguity'. You can't say 2+2=5 and then insist math is ambigous now, and we have to change it!

Negligence on environmental impact mitigation and reduction continuously feed the snowball type of attitude in ventilation.

The untenable outdoor air quality (PM, temp) resulted in enclosure of indoor spaces & over-reliance to airconditioning which contribute add'tl heat outside

50 slides to explain the Finite Element Method in CFD.

Perhaps another 50 more to explain the Finite Volume Method.

Though the main topics of the lecture (on Tuesday) are the staggered grid method and the collocation method.

Some lecture slides are too time-consuming to set up.

Feels like writing a book, when there are no main reference books (most of them use Finite Difference Methods).

50 slides in, still haven't reached the main topic on the lecture which is pressure correction.

Ideation of doing remote arrangements (due to the sweltering heat) being coincided with the implementation of regressive policies against urban mobility... more like potentially skewing the narrative that removing some sustainable options on the road 'lessen' traffic congestion.

Far-UVC safety is a function of time, distance, and power. The power of light falls off rapidly with distance, so if you can control the distance that people are exposed at, you can prevent overexposure. By using multiple, less powerful emitters instead of one huge one, that…
