Our city’s Jewish community is already feeling vulnerable given the alarming rise in antisemitism. This shooting at a school in the early hours of the morning is a horrible and deplorable criminal act of intimidation. The perpetrators must be caught and brought to justice.

Started the day with a walk through the Cedarvale Ravine. It’s rainy and the air is fresh. I’ve always found this to be such a special and beautiful place for reflection and well-being.

Doug Ford is spending our tax dollars like a drunken sailor. I’d far rather he spend $225 million on speeding up transit improvements, and access to affordable housing, rather than blow all of our money at the Beer Store.

On behalf of our community, I wish my most heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Councillor Jaye Robinson, and to the residents of Don Valley West. We will always be grateful for her service, and passion, for our city. I will miss her.

The frequent delays and shutdowns on our subway are unacceptable. Torontonians should be able to rely on their transit system to get to their destination on time. And it certainly shouldn’t take the absolute chaos we experienced this week to get the TTC to finally take action.
