3A player of the Year? No argument from us tonight as Jaylen Hill owned the court. The future Oregon State Football standout was a dominant force around the hoop as you would expect with 19 points and 19 rebounds, but itβs the big manβs passing that so good too. 7 assists in the win.
Setting the tone in the first half was Josh Hickcox. The DLSNC junior guard hit jumpers, both from three and the long pull-up, to the tune of 11 points as the Knights pulled ahead. Steady play at the point the rest of the game in a key victory for the team.
Sharpshooting as usual today from Ahshua Neal as he kept his jumper loaded and knocked down five threes and scored 18 points. But the Nelson Mens Basketball also was a big contributor on the boards, hitting the offensive glass hard in particular.
