Over the course of 10 hours today, conducted four hours of interviews with Reach Alliance team, but spent six hrs of driving time in the car navigating Mumbai traffic! Did make it to a migrant worker cultural festival at YUVA with Roshni Nuggehalli!

Research day 1: outside Mumbai, at an 'unauthorized' migrant housing settlement, where workers and local civil society orgs self-mobilize to gain entitlement benefits.

Met two of my best friends at McGill frosh week 33 yrs ago. Our kids grew up together. Vacations (photo of us in Brazil), cottage, hanging out, keeping secrets from the parents. This fall, our kids, Eli, Tino and Oliver, are all heading to McGill. Full circle.
