Year one continued their printing explorations this week by creating their own collagraph printing blocks from foam sheets and cardboard.

Our year 4 were busy creating their own Viking dragon print designs today. There was plenty of concentration to ensure their dragons had an interlacing body similar to those found on the artefact pictures they had explored.

Year 3, have been busy creating Alice Kettle inspired designs for their own textile art. Once they had designed their compositions and considered the colours they would use, they began to apply fabric paint to calico. These will form the backgrounds for future stitch work.
