What a great day for a JDE Character Parade! Our students, staff, and parents celebrated their love of reading by showcasing their favorite books and book characters.

We would like to thank the AMAZING Wake Forest High School Pep band for traveling over and providing the music for our character parade. You entertained and inspired little minds today. We appreciate you!

Today was an exciting day at JDE! We had our JDE Fun Run today. It was so awesome seeing the sea of green panther students running, jumping, and having fun to raise money for our new playground equipment. Way to go!

Thank you to all of our kindergarten families that came in to surprise their students and read for the "When the Relatives Came" activity this afternoon. There were smiles for miles this afternoon!

We want to send out a big thank you to the Rolesville Fire Dept for coming to our school today! Town of Rolesville They gave our kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades a fun fire safety lesson today. Pictured here are some of our first graders. #rolesvilleNC #FireSafety

Jones Dairy 3rd Graders held a book drive last fall. Approximately 4,000 books were collected! The books were recently delivered to Ashe and Avery Co. schools who were very appreciative. These books will be given to their families who are still displaced.

Our staff was delighted to receive this delicious, fresh popcorn! Thanks so much Double Good! #DoADoubleGood
