When I taught my yearly game-design course, I reviewed work online, where the Canvas system presented student work in alpha order. Rather than grading from A to Z, each time I would randomly pick a place in the student order to start.

First Amendment strikes again. Police can't shut down your public speech just because you're obnoxious and people assault you over it. I've run into these guys several times, and they sure are obnoxious. Apparently assaulting them a little is OK.

In 1974, I began playing D&D. Later, we'd try other RPGs - The Fantasy Trip, Chivalry & Sorcery, etc. splitting time 50-50 between D&D & the new game. We always returned to D&D. Until 1978, and Runequest. We started 50-50 as usual, but by year's end it was 100% Runequest.

How big a geek am I? I copy the sudoku from the NY Times games app or from the Seattle Times online replica edition and then print it out big so I can use a pen and a pencil to fill it in, using my custom notation system.

Glorantha was the first published game world that I ever used. Before Glorantha, I always created my own campaign settings. In the four decades since then, it's been wonderful to see more and more material for Glorantha released. And I even got to write some for it.
