This incredible painting by Thomas Blackshear is fantastic; a magical location, a pair of desperate characters, and a raging creature with a breath weapon. There's so much going on and filled with so much energy.

I picked up 'The Code of the Harpers' by Ed Greenwood as a POD for my D&D 5e campaign. It's a great little book and is filled with plenty of ideas and hooks I can put to good use.

I'm introducing a Harper patron into the game on Sunday - let's see how the players react!

Found this wonderful illustrated copy of The Canterbury Tales on an honesty book shelf. I've not read this since I was a wee lad and I'm looking forward to rediscovering what it was I enjoyed about it.

I was playing a lot of D&D at the time so it no doubt influenced me.

So, after finishing 'Britain's Bloody Crown' I've moved on to 'Britain's Bloodiest Dynasty', another brilliant documentary from Dan Jones. It's an excellent show with plenty of inspiration.

After this I'm moving on to 'Secrets of Great British Castles'.

Chris Achilleos always produced incredible work and my favourite White Dwarf cover. I had the pleasure of meeting him back in 2019 and he signed a few things for me; he was an amazing talent and while he provided images for a lot of issues, this was my favourite.
