According to the WHO #monkeypox does not spread easily. It usually requires direct contact with the lesion. Here are the number of confirmed cases. At the moment it looks like it is “spreading”, but that could be an anomaly with the statistics at such an early stage.

The only known vaccine against #monkeypox is made by Bavarian Nordic ASA in Denmark. The shares jumped on Friday, but remain 34% below their peak in the last 5 years.
