Deeply saddened and thinking fondly of Kathryn Bevis who sadly passed away this morning. Such a loss. Her legacy for warmth, kindness and astoundingly good poems, like this beauty, from our most recent issue, lives on.

Kathryn, you are so admired and greatly loved by so many.

So sad to learn of the death of Kathryn Bevis. I knew her first of all as a kind soul who cheered other poets on, then as my student. Later, I watched her soar and I used her stunning, resonant work in my teaching. Thinking of her family and many friends. xxx
