Anytime the fbi takes an adversarial action like executing a search warrant, there is a deadly force policy. If there is danger to you or public and there’s no alternatives, you are authorized to use deadly force. This is standard policy.

The fact that this case may never go to trial is genuinely absurd. Trump refused to return classified national-defense documents to the govt when asked, lied about it, and then obstructed the govt's efforts to get those documents back. He should face a trial for those actions.

The truly scandalous fact revealed in the new unsealed filing is that Trump not only had classified documents at Mar-a-Lago even after the FBI search, but that some of those documents were in his bedroom. He can't plausibly claim to have been unaware that they were there.
