Enjoy Still Life With Red Chair by William Gillies RSA (1898 – 1973) in honour of travel for #onlineartexchange . By the time Gillies paints this around 1928-30 he’d travelled twice to France & absorbed cubism, surrealism, & other European art movements. See it at JGC till 26/4/24
